Skisafari & Valley ski runs are ready!
Ski safari: the ginormous area is open
As from now ski fans are joining the throng in a unique, `ginormous` ski safari in the large ski area around Kitzbühel/Kirchberg, which extends all the way through to Pass Thurn. Rather than lose time on ski-bus journeys, ski aficionados hover cheerily from summit to summit - taking the ski area off the reel. Thanks to the most modern of technology, the unique 3S cable car has at long last fully connected the attractive Kitzbühel ski areas, making it accessible from both directions. This `main artery` of the Kitzbühel ski area is a must for unabated skiing pleasure and those sensational `flight` experiences over the pistes.

Ski safari – Here we come!
The deep wintry conditions and 100% coverage from artificial snow-making machinery have meant that the ski safari is open already and is fully accessible. With the Pengelstein I or the Fleckalmbahn, and also the Hahnenkammbahn, Wagstätt and the Panoramabahn, your ski adventure is assured. With the 3-S cable car you can then fly first of all into an early winter skiing, heading via Saukasergraben for Jochberg and then with the Bärenbadkogel cable car; lift by lift you get closer to those two thousand metre mountains. Afterwards it’s a speedy trip on the Panoramabahn, where the superb Breitmoos descent (from Sunday), freshly rolled and smoothed, awaits. Of course your ski safari can also be tackled from the other direction, and you’ll have so much great ski fun on the wonderful slopes, bringing the day to a close at ‘Schroll-Skirast’. KitzSki is calling!

5 valley ski runs in the best of shape

Thanks to ultra-modern snow-making technology the popular valley ski runs have been open for quite some time now for the public to ski on. With the romantic ‘Schroll-Skirast’, the pleasurably long Kaser run, the legendary family Streif, the slalom slopes of Wagstätt/Wurzhöhe, all the way through to the wonderful panoramic ski run of Breitmoos, there are 5 valley ski runs which are already in great shape. Providing charming runs to do again and again, and also the crowning finale to a great day’s skiing in the neighbouring resorts of the large ski area (Kitzbühel, Kirchberg, Jochberg, Mittersill).

With a snow pack structure on the mountain which is a good 55 cm, and a piste thickness in the valley of between 25 and 35 cm, the pistes are in their usual sturdy condition and guarantee fun-filled skiing and great slalom turns!
