AllStarCard . The season in the
Kitzbühel Alps begins in November with glacier skiing on the
Kitzsteinhorn near Kaprun. The
Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See enthuses with superb snow parks and five long valley runs.
Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang places emphasis on absolute snow-assuredness, snow-making provisions are already available for 90 % of the 200 kilometres of pistes. The
ski area of Kitzbühel with the legendary Streif run and the spectacular ‘3S-Bahn’ are located in the heart of the ski association. Austria’s largest ski area is connected with Kitzbühel, the
SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental . Belonging to the
Schneewinkel ski area are, amongst others, the free-ride ski area in
Fieberbrunn , the family-friendly
Steinplatte in Waidring and the
St. Johann in Tirol ski area which is blessed with having lots of cosy Alpine inns. In
Hochtal Wildschönau there are the highest lying ski towns in the region and the Alpbachtal ski area is one for experts.
