Ski tour above the Asten run

Conquer the Hahnenkamm above the ASTEN in the evening - very attractive!

Asten run
The Asten run is open daily during the winter months until 11 p.m. for tourers! One of the most popular descents from the Hahnenkamm can also be tackled in the evenings: every evening tourers can walk on the Asten run (No. 20) to Kitzbuehel's local mountain.
The Asten - a pleasure that will be experienced!
The Asten - a pleasure that will be experienced!

Usually snow cat drivers are doing intensive work on the descent for the following day. These 'piste preparers' keep an extra special look for our tour ski enthusiasts. This creates a time window for danger-free tours - and all that close to the town of Kitzbuehel. Single piste devices are in operation - however dangerous cable winch preparation is not carried out!

One interesting variant follows the last section beneath the Hahnenkammbahn, past Hocheck-Hütte to Restaurant Hochkitzbuehel. In the evening whoever has spared no effort can treat themselves afterwards in Restaurant Hochkitzbuehel or in Hocheck-Hütte.

Long Friday - Tourer's late shift:

The Hahnenkammbahn provides a comfortable descent on Friday evening, operating until 11.00 p.m. So, for all those who are heading out on tours later on: - up to the mountain - up to the Hahnenkamm!

Parking is available at the Hahnenkammbahn and at Ganslernsesselbahn
